A strong Pound to the Euro has been a major factor in making Spain an attractive alternative to living in the UK. In particular Britain`s O.A.P`s have flocked in their numbers; the exchange rate having increased the spending power of retirement savings and pension funds as compared to those choosing to remain in the UK.
