It brings numbers up to nine in recent days
Yet another immigrant boat has reached the waters of AlmerÃa province, following the six small patera boats which arrived last Saturday and another on Sunday morning.
A vessel carrying 18 people was spotted some 50 miles off the eastern shores of Cabo de Gata this Tuesday afternoon. They were travelling on a Zodiac-type boat and are reported to have all been ‘very young’.

Six boats were intercepted by the authorities on Saturday and Sunday
Six patera small boats carrying 84 immigrants, including three children and a woman, were intercepted by the authorities off the waters of AlmerÃa over the weekend.
16 Moroccans were found off the Cabo de Bata in the last of the boats to arrive on Sunday morning.
Only one of the travellers needed hospital treatment, with the rest reported to be in good health.

Central Government has postponed the process to expropriate the building
Two years after starting the process for the compulsory purchase of the El Agarrobico hotel in the Gata-Nijar Nature Park in Carboneras, AlmerÃa, the Government has taken a u-turn.
The Government now wants to wait for the situation of the hotel, built just 50 metres from the beach, to be clarified, given the many other judicial proceedings which have been opened in the case.

Two fires had been set to burn off scrub; One of the Britons arrested is 71 years old
A 71 year old British man, named with the initials W.W. has been arrested and another Briton has reportedly also been charged, after two fires to burn scrub in Alboloduy and Benizalón, AlmerÃa, got out of control.
