EasyJet Cancel 80 Flights Across Europe Including 24 To Spain

6 January 2010 738 views 8 Comments

Services to Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam and Toulouse are the worst effected by the cancellation of around 80 flights around Europe by EasyJet, with 24 flights relating to Spain having to be cancelled.

The prime reason is the continuing bad weather in the UK which apart from causing havocs with the airports, has messed up the flight crew schedules with many exceeding their flight allowance limits, and many crew members are simply stuck in the wrong places.

Flights effected are understood to include: flights to and from Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Málaga, Laznarote and Alicante. Fights to Liverpool, and flights to Manchester from Alicante and Málaga are also cancelled along with the Madrid to Gatwick service.
